Share & Deposit Accounts

What can you do with a share account at GCCU? Virtually anything a traditional savings account can do and more.

A standard Prime Share Account allows you to maintain equity ownership and accrue dividends quarterly. GCCU also offers share accounts that are set up for specific goals, like saving for retirement or for teaching children financial responsibility.

  • Prime Share Account – Represents your “share” of the credit union. Dividends are paid on the daily balance quarterly.
  • Club Account – Earns interest on an automatic transfer of income. Helps members save for taxes, vacations, and the holidays.
  • Money Market Account – Earns higher interest rates than a traditional savings account and allows three free withdrawals per month.
  • IRA Accounts – GCCU offers several types of tax-advantaged Individual Retirement Accounts.
  • Youth Share Account – Helps children (17 or younger) learn the value of earned interest and save for a new car or college tuition.
  • Share Certificates – Typically earns higher interest than a traditional savings account. Earnings aren’t affected by the market.

We also offer low-maintenance Basic Checking Accounts and Advantage Plus Checking Accounts for drafting checks, making withdrawals, and making regular deposits online, at our drive-up, or in person.
